Nine First Fridays Devotion / Devoción de los Nueve Primeros Viernes

First Fridays Devotion+

This devotion was requested in 1674 by Our Lord, in honor of His Sacred Heart, to Saint Margaret Mary Alocoque. On the first Friday of nine consecutive months:

1) Go to Confession (Reconciliation) and

2) Receive Holy Communion (Holy Mass).

Do this especially in reparation for those who do not receive Our Lord, who do not love Him and who wound Him by their sinful lives.

Our Lord said to St. Margaret Mary: “I promise you, in the excessive mercy of My Heart, that My all-powerful love will grant to all those who communicate [receive communion] on the First Friday of nine consecutive months, the grace of final penitence; they shall not die in my disgrace, nor without receiving their Sacraments, My Divine Heart shall be their safe refuge in this last moment.”

Esta devoción fue solicitada en 1674 por Nuestro Señor, en honor a Su Sagrado Corazón, a Santa Margarita María Alocoque. El primer viernes de nueve meses consecutivos:

1) Vaya a la confesión (reconciliación) y

2) Recibir la Sagrada Comunión (Santa Misa).

Hagan esto especialmente en reparación por aquellos que no reciben a Nuestro Señor, que no lo aman y que lo hieren con sus vidas pecaminosas.

Nuestro Señor le dijo a Santa Margarita María: “Te prometo, en la excesiva misericordia de Mi Corazón, que Mi amor todopoderoso otorgará a todos aquellos que se comuniquen [reciban la comunión] el primer viernes de nueve meses consecutivos, la gracia de penitencia final; no morirán en mi desgracia, ni sin recibir sus sacramentos, Mi Divino Corazón será su refugio seguro en este último momento ”.
