Between 1673 and 1675, Our Lord
appeared to Saint Margaret Mary

Our Lord said to St. Margaret Mary:  “I
promise you, in the excessive mercy of
My Heart, that My all-powerful love will
[receive communion] on the First Friday
of nine consecutive months, the grace of
final penitence; they shall not die in my
disgrace, nor without receiving their
Sacraments, My Divine Heart shall be
their safe refuge in this last moment.”

On the first Friday of 9 consecutive
months: 1) Go to Confession
(Reconciliation) and 2) Receive Holy
Communion (Holy Mass).  It is also
tradition to spend one hour in Adoration
with Our Lord.

Do this especially in reparation for those
who do not receive Our Lord, who do
their sinful lives.

Our Lord also told her:
“My divine heart is so filled with
passionate love for men and for you in
particular that I can no longer contain the
fire of its ardent charity. Through you it
must be spread, and its precious
treasures that I will show to you must be
manifested so that they may be enriched.”

“Behold this Heart that has so loved men
and has spared nothing even to emptying
Itself to show them Its love. And as
thanks, I receive from most only
This devotion was requested in 1925 by
the Child Jesus and the Blessed Virgin
Mary, in honor of the Blessed Virgin
Mary’s Immaculate Heart,
to Sister Lúcia of Fátima, Portugal.

On the first Saturday of five consecutive
months: 1) Go to Confession
(Reconciliation),  2) Receive Holy
Communion (Holy Mass),  3) Recite 5
decades of the Rosary, and   4)
Meditate on the 15 (20) mysteries of the
Rosary for 15 (20) minutes.

Our Lady said to Sister Lúcia:
“I promise to assist at the hour of death,
with the graces necessary for salvation,
all those who, on the first Saturday of five
consecutive months, shall confess,
receive Holy Communion, recite five
decades of the Rosary, and keep me
company for fifteen minutes while
meditating on the fifteen mysteries of the
Rosary, with the intention of making
reparation to me.”

The following year (1926), Our Lord
said to Sister Lúcia:  “It is true, my
daughter, that many souls begin the First
Saturdays, but few finish them, and those
who do complete them do so in order to
receive the graces that are promised
thereby.  It would please Me more if they
did Five with fervor and with the intention
of making reparation to the Heart of your
Heavenly Mother, than if they did Fifteen
in a tepid and indifferent manner…”
I will never forsake you.
My Immaculate Heart
will be your refuge and
the way that will lead you to God."
